Do not think I am getting around 250/300 miles per full tank, I think I am getting alot less than that but it is hard to tell as I am not sure about the gauge or unless there is a fuel problem??? using too much?? have checked the tyres andd they are at the correct pressure any thing else I can check??? As it is begining to cost alot of money just to drive 15 miles per day.

RE: fuel gauge

Yours sounds perfectly normal to me. Also in my experience it depends whether the car has been running for some time. Put the car away with about 1/4 of fuel, and start next morning and it's touching the red. After about 10 miles the gauge is warming up, but by then of course you have used more fuel anyway. I just treat anything from 1/4 less as a warning to fill up fairly soon.

RE: fuel gauge

A 240 auto is not the most economical means to cover 15 miles, though very stylish.
