Heater control panel removal

I'm having trouble removing the heater control panel on my V70 classic to replace the bulbs. I've removed the 4 control knobs (2x heater, 1x fan speed and 1x air direction), then the 2 torx screws behind. The panel then moves forward a bit, then won't come out anymore. Does anyone have any idea or do I just need to pull harder........ Thanks, Jon

You need to remove the radio then release the two plastic tabs on the base of the heater unit, it will then pull out of the dash. Suggest you disconnect the battery before doing this, remember the radio code.

Thanks, removing the radio meant that I could get my hand behind the heater unit and give it a wiggle, it came out easy enough. The two bulbs on the back of the panel are larger than the ones I purchased for the radio, so back off to Maplins again. Thanks, Jon
