Forum problems?

I think a big part of the problem is the fact that this site and its administrators make it very difficult to sign up. Then once someone like myself signs up "new" they get an emil saying that they can't post for FIVE DAYS due to some crap about posting topics already discussed. That's the problem with this site. You lost someone like myself who would of probably given as much information as I would of taken and in addition, I would of donated for a site such as this. That five day crap turned me off instantaneously, and I've found I new place over at VCDHELP.COM where I have and will again donate to keep that site alive. Keep up the B.S policies and ridiculous requirements, and Doom9 will be literally "Doomed!"

The 5 day rule is neither unreasonable nor uncommon. Blind freddy could see that. No doubt it was introduced as a considered response to the problem of "lazy" new members flooding the forums with questions. admin wouldn't have introduced it just for the hell of it :rolleyes: Get a grip, this place is pretty well managed.

This was a fun post... not... Didn't add anything to the community, posted in the wrong forum, and the killer is that he waited 5 days just to post this???
