Just curious. I know it can be used as a stand alone, but how well does it work within Reaper? Any observations good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks.
RE: Does Reaper play nice with Ozone mastering VST?
I have been using Ozone (multiple versions) since Ozone 3 with no problems with Reaper for several years. Biggest drawback is it can be a CPU hog depending on your system.
RE: Does Reaper play nice with Ozone mastering VST?
Been using Ozone Advanced from V4 to V7 without issues here. I also have the music production bundle now and all IZotope products work well. I use them on pretty much all my projects. As has been mentioned though, they can be heavy on CPU depending on your system and which plugin configurations you use. Closing the GUI can reduce CPU usage in some circumstances too.
RE: Does Reaper play nice with Ozone mastering VST?
Using v6 in Reaper and very happy with it. Mainly used for its great limiter and exciter. I would prefer to do my mastering in the standalone version, but they stupidly didn't include a "replace track" option which makes it very impractical. Not sure what they were thinking with that decision!
RE: Does Reaper play nice with Ozone mastering VST?
Thanks, everyone. Just wanted to sure they worked together before buying. I used Sound Forge 6 for ages, need something fresh and am not crazy about the versions of SF after 6...
