Sounds like your connection is USB 1.1 - if possible, you should upgrade to USB 2.0 Also, you might try using (freeware) VirtualVCR...

Ferder, did you get it working yet? I use a Dazzle DVC90 USB2, and I wonder if your problem is that your USB controller card is not powerful enough. I'm new to this forum, but I participate on the Pinnacle Studio forum, and I posted this thread , it includes a link to another thread about installing new USB controller cards to solve bad capture problems. Hope this helps. (I couldn't reply last week, because of the five-day waiting period for new forum members, sorry)
