Last night after had parked my 760 I realised that I lost all the water from my radiator. I found out that one hose was gone. It seems to be the top-to-head hose. I have been looking around for a replacement and I do not find it nowhere. Does anybody knows where I can find it? I looked at halfords and german swedish car parts in brixton without sucess. The car is 1990 Volvo 760 gle estate v6 2.8. Please help....

Hi, A dealer will be able to help - certainly with a part number. With the part number you can check nordic and others for availability. You may also be able to find one at a Volvo breakers like Salvos. Des. . . ;)

Is this the large hose from the back of the water pump to the block? If so you will get a length of hose from the dealers cut from a long section of hose. Replacing this hose is a bit of a fiddle and I would suggest just biting the bullet an getting a new section of hose rather than a used one that may soon burst again.
Hi Des and Migrator, thanks for your replies. Des, I do not have a part number - how can I find out? Are there any diagramms I could look at? It is not the long hose but the one below the longer one - in the volvo repair book it looked as if it could be the pump-to-head hose (as they describe it)... It is ca 15-25 cm long, bent and difficult to access as it is directly below a longer hose. It was porous close to one of the metallic clips which made it loose all the water. As I am in the process of moving house I am desperate to get my Volvo back... Thanks for all your help!

I am not sure anymore could also be number 16, but one that I have it is benden as number 31. just in case would you have the part number from number 16? Another question is I am trying to contact nordic but in order to have acess to their catalogue I have to submit an application wich I will just get an response in 7 days. Is there any other way to get in touch with them faster?
