Hi, I am trying to run pro tools free on a system using OS 8.6 on which I didnt' install Open Transport... is there one open transport file that I can use so that I can finally get PTF to launch instead of having it, telling me it can't launch cause it can't find OTUtility Lib or do I have to install all of Open transport for it to work. thanks in advance, richard sven

Pro Tools does need open transport to run. Installing it should solve your problem. Mike

You need OT, but you don't need appletalk to be active. Turn it off unless you need it for something. jim
