Question Regarding Monitor Mixing and Multiple Projects

Hey guys and girls! Now I'm not sure the best way to word this so I'm not sure how it'll sound written down, but bare with me! My issue is, in doing a full CD project, tracking a band live, then doing punch-ins and overdubs after, I like to have each song in a seperate Reaper project. The issue in doing this is that monitor levels for each band member will be different for each song! (Make sense so far?) My Recording process is as follows... Each song has it's own folder, and project. There is also a sound check folder and project which I use to set levels and sort out monitor mixes for each artist! All of these projects start using the exact same track lists and everything, so they are essencially identical! (All have X drum channels, X guitar channels and so on...) However, when it comes to duplicating these monitor settings for each song we go to record, is there an easier way to duplicate these settings for each song, aside from writing down al the send levels and doing it manually? At the moment for monitoring, I have a track for each band member and send pre-fade levels from each track the artist wants to hear to it, then assign that to an output (or 2) on my interface. Still with me? So basically, my question, is there a way to duplicate these monitor settings from the sound check project, into each songs project? It's just a little time consuming manually putting in each send level to keep them the exact same for 5 and upwards artists!

RE: Question Regarding Monitor Mixing and Multiple Projects

If I understand you right (and its more than possible that I don't), you can get the settings right for all your tracks for the first song, save them all together as one big track template, then use that to create the project files for the other songs.

You can set all that up and save it as a project template file\project templates\save project....
