Abs & remote locking help please

hi dazal can probably help with number 3 it will be the rear window lock so that only the switches in the centre console open the rear windows and not th eones in the rear doors

I'm having the exact same problem 1 as you. I'd love to find out what the heck's wrong!!!

so would i , think i need to strip it down this weekend . Have been told to check the wiring under the radiator ?

Hi Thanks everyone , i will bid on the key fob ,very cheap, When i got the v40 cd it was not running rite but a set of plugs and a second hand battery has sorted that. Just need to sort the abs fault but not had much time to strip the brakes down , hope to have a look this weekend. Cheers Daz

I had a problem with the abs. It turned out to be a badly corroded factory join under the radiator. But the fact that your abs light comes on after you've driven it for a short time leads me to think, this is not the problem, as my abs light was on constantly, even on ignition. If you get the codes read and it comes up " Valve power supply , missing" then it could be the problem. If it is then the link above includes pictures that show how I sorted mine. Hope this helps Tom
