Replacing Turbo

According to my wonderful mechanic, im passing oil into the exhaust and the bearings in the turbo sound rough. In his experience, which he has a plenty, it'll be replacement time sooner rather than later. My question is, stock or hybrid. I'm running the standard engine, apart from the BSR induction. Im quite partial to a bit of power, so a hybrid would be welcome. Not bothered by the recon route. Im wondering if any of you lovely volvo people know what turbos i can bolt on and how big is sensible to go before engine mods needed. Im a bit of a novice when it comes to the turbo side of the engine so advice would be good. Also ive checked a few lists and cant determine whether it is a mitsubishi or kkk turbo on the 1998 T5. Different lists with different turbos. Help a fellow volvo nut, guvnor....

Hi What is your budget? i would go 18T or 19T if you can find one, you will have to get the car mapped to run it properly, Gary.
