Error -6020

I am getting error code 6020. I relpaced DAE in system folder. I have PTLE. 5.2.1. I tired replacing the DAE with the one that came with the 5.2.1. That didn't work. I tried replacing the DAE with the one that came with the original 5.1 and that did not work. I tried replacing the whole DAE folder. That did not work. I would appreciate any info on how to get back up and running. I did whatever the answerbase suggested. But no good so far. Thanks for any help.

Try reinstalling Pro Tools. Also make sure you only have one copy of Pro Tools on your system (search all drives). Also don't forget to trash all your Pro Tools and DAE related prefs. Rail

Thanks Rail Jon, You were absolutely correct. I found a copy of the DAE in my system folder on another partition. Somehow I have my program on one partition and my DAE on another. So I replaced the bad one with a new one and it works. thanks for your help.
