Heavy Rock

Just bought Reaper and I thought I'd take it for a testdrive. Mixed through headphones alone on purpose, because I'm testing Jeroen Breebaart's new Isone Pro plug-in at the same time (might be a tip for other headphone users around here). I really like the kick and snare, especially the snare with the bass in the beginning and right before the first mini solo. Are the guitars mic'd or are they run through ampsims? I can't tell so am unsure but that could be because my cabinet mic'ing leaves alot to be desired :) It does sound perfect though. It stands up well without vocals but I am curious - if you could pick the perfect voice for this, who would it be? if anyone.

Mmm perfect voice for this song... I'd probably go with Brandon Boyd.
