writing notes

Hi, what i would like to see is a possibility to write down notes for each tracks; a possibility to write down mic, mic position, outboard gear parameters, comments, etc. i know there's a place to write down notes in the project settings, but to me i'd like to see more possibilities. like also it would be great for songwriters if you had a notepad in the docker so you can write while listening to a recording. been playing with v4 and loving it, really nice software. thanks!

Well, this has been lacking for some time... The only answer I get is to download Schwas "track notepad" plugin or, insert a new "empty item" and write notes in there. Both of which are hacks. ~Rob.

ok thanks for that. not the most elegant solution though and not user friendly if you have to download it seperately (which requires actually knowing of the plug-ins existance).

Its been years now, with many requests. Don't think its happening anytime soon. Not quite sure what the hold up is, Probably take 5 mins to put it in or less. Oh well.
