Boot net pocket (side panel)

Does anyone have one fitted on the left side (as you look in the boot) ? I bought one (more money than sense I know) and the fitting instructions are pants. I looked on which are the same as those supplied. They can turn panels through 90 degrees without explanation. The panels in my car do not look like those in the diagrams. If anyone has one fitted and can post a photograph, so I can see where it's anchored, would be much appreciated.

I've got one in my boot - was put in by the mechanic at the last service so I don't know the ins and outs of how it was done. I'll try and get some pictures this weekend (don't see the car in daylight during the week so I won't be able to before then). Cheers Tony

I only bought the net to store the: First aid kit, spare bulbs, fuses, hi-vi jacket, fire extinguisher and all the other cr@p I have to cart about while driving on the wrong side of the road... Maybe I'll just chuck it in the spare wheel well and be done with it.

Here you go, couple of photos for you. While it's not a very big space I do find it handy. I've got a small tyre inflator in the spare wheel well along with an emergency triangle so that's not available for me! Tony

Thanks Tony for remembering. I guess I was looking for something a little more substantial than knocking the clips through the interior panel. If that's the way Volvo did it then who am I to argue.

Rather than the cargo net, I opted for the Cardboard box technique. Take one good solid cardboard box , take of the flaps on the top, and stick ya aircompressor/de-icer/emergency water and other bits and bobs! Then take one Stork and the resulting baby to find the excuse to purchase a pushchair - this in your boot helps stop the cardboard box from sliding about. If it wasn't for the pushchair, I would have secured it in place with some elastic coming off the rear seat. Edit: I've just noticed the end of a Umberella in the boot - that looks an afull lot like mine? When I bought the car - it came with the Brolly! I just assumed it was the previous owners? or do they come as standard with the car - I very much doubt it - but it looks identical!! hmmmm there's some guy outside taking pictures of my boot!!
