Dolby Digital & DTS 6.1 ?

The Sony Ac-3 Plugin for Vegas is sure capable of doing the EX flag in the 5.1 AC3. Also the latest Sonic AC-3 Encoder available in Scenarist could be capable of doing this.

Thanx alot mp3dom. Do you know any stand alone encoder that could do that? I am not sure that Scenarists encoder could do that.

DTS 6.1 Encoder here: Sonic has a standalone AC3 Encoder... however, I'm not sure if it does the "EX" flag on it...

Unfortunately it does not...I am trying to find a DD EX standalone encoderbut up till now ...nothing. I guess i will go to Vegas 6 solution after all.

YES. Vegas 5,6 support DD-EX. It has good DD certified encoder. I didn't find any other. SurCode, Digigram, SoftEncode, plugin for Premiere, Encoder in Scenarist don't support EX mode. Probably DD Encoder in Nuendo 2 also dosen't support it. Only Vegas has it:)
