New theme colors DESPERATELY needed!

[IMG]http://img807.**************/img807/4760/smallfontneeded.png[/IMG] Please add new color and font in theme color/font controls named: "Small text color in MIDI editors" "Small text color in MIDI editors (selected)" "Small text font in MIDI editors" to DRASTICALLY improve visibility of this! This small font will be used for: sysex text, text events text, bank/program message text, and all those events in CC lanes in inline editor, as well! Drastical improvement for sure! One thing - I noticed that the colors are more visible when color mode is set to Pitch, but I'm not using that mode at all - I'm using Velocity mode... Vote here:

+1, cause I already think the default theme is incredible, I would like to have NO reason to replace it. :)

BTW this is not the default theme, this is ReaFLS skin... And I guess the situation is pretty much the same with all dark skins. Thanks for your votes!

I'm not a Reaper user as of yet as I have some outstanding issues posted elsewhere. However, I personally think Reaper looks very "1999", and a bit "open source". The buttons all are really nice, however the text and some of the interface things like the transport text boxes, the tabs at the bottom of the page and the general look of the arrange/region/edit area looks a bit outdated, square, or otherwise not as cool as other modern DAWs. But that's just my taste. The OP concerning text visibility is a bug not a feature request IMHO. But again, everything else looks great, especially the buttons.

The tabs got an improvement with the newer versions. They now look much more slick! There are very nice skins and color themes for Reaper, as well. And Reaper really is kind-of open-source, in a way that this community contributes to its functionality (just look at SWS extensions) and shapes Reaper into what it is with their bug reports and feature requests.

That's why I said kind-of. I should have added -but-not-really, making it kind-of-but-not-really open-source :D

Hey guys, sorry for bringing up open source ha ha... Anyway, please note, when I criticized the theme, I was under the impression that you only got one that you were lumbered with, but have the option to make your own. This is because I was trying to change the theme from inside the preferences window. But apparently, this was completely wrong, because when I selected... Options -> Themes -> Default_2.0 .... I was very pleasantly surprised the whole program no longer looks like ass. Therefore, I mean to say the default theme IMHO sucks because I can't see anything and it looks sort of 1999, and the VERSION 2 theme kicks ass!!! :-D

This is not the default theme, the default theme also has all these letters visible. This is ReaFLS theme that I'm using. But being unable to change the said font and color to fit each theme best is really, REALLY starting to irritate me.

Please vote some more, this is really starting to annoy visually (I'm working a lot in MIDI editor.)
