Hi everyone,.,.. I really hope that this happened to anyone of you bofore, and therefore the problem can be solved easily. Anyway, here it is: When I try to rip a movie (the source is an avi, i know the quality won't be great....I had the same problem with the legends of hall dvd though). Well, it all works fine, but once the conversion is made and the program exits succesfully I try to see the movie and i can only see the first 5 seconds of it because afterwards the timeline (the bar, i mean) keeps moving, but it seems like that first five seconds of the movie have been copied/pasted throughout the entire movie (the sound its ok, btw, it's the video the thing wrong. I saw the mpv and it's already with the problem). I have an athlon xp2600+ msi k76 delta fisr 512mb DDR hd 80gb... I tried using that roba plugin and also in the "classic" way, and in both i have the same result. i moved from cce2.50 to 2.66, but nothing gets fixed. Plz help Thanks a lot KA_CH_RO

I tried to solve the problem through all night and I'll post the fix in here so anyone with the same problem can make it work, hope it helps:) I had installed divx 5.0.2 and Intervideo WinDVD 5 Platinum. The thing I didn't know was that the movie couldn't be watched with the 5.0.2 codec, and it used the codec provided with windvd, (that's why the movie played ok if I watched the source). The codec bundled with windvd doesn't work with dvd2svcd so when I tried to encode the movie then it used the 5.0.2 codec, and that lead to the problem. The fix to that is simply to download the latest version of divx (I used divx 5.1.1):P It sounds simple, but it really took me some time... Again, hope it helps someone in the future Cheers KA_CH_RO
