C70 Boot Sensor

Hi, The boot open warning light keeps coming on and off whilst i'm driving, although the boot is obviously closed and secure. Also the alarm seems to go off by its self as well, so i'm thinking maybe the two problems are linked? Does anyone know the location of the boot closed sensor on a C70? so i can check its operation? can't see it anywhere obvious? Thanks

The open/closed indicator switch is located in the lock mechanism on the boot lid.

There's a microswitch in the lock assembly with a metal tongue which can be bent back.
