ReaXComp Multiple Outputs

Is it only me or we all want the ReXComp to be able to output each band on different plugin output? That would be great for Mastering or general tasks that would require band separating many dynamically controlled signals from one source. That would be great also for Pop Vocals, Drums and Delays, Loops, etc... Just a thought :-) Cheers, Panozk

RE: ReaXComp Multiple Outputs

For now you could make a 8 channel track put a comp on each channel, send 1 and 2 to all 4 comps, use "parameter linking" to link each comps parameters together (may take a while but you can save the whole thing as a fx again for use again), mute all but the lowest band on the first one which goes to channels 1 and 2, mute all but the 2nd band from comp 2 which routes out to 3 and 4, do same for the last two.. . Now you have each band coming out from a separate out but all controlled from one plug in :) not perfect but what other apps can do that! ;) . You could then use a js mix plug after a few more fx to mix it back in again :)

RE: ReaXComp Multiple Outputs

I agree it could be more flexible. The most important part of what i said was the very new "parameter linking" that allows you to duplicate any plug in to all channels and then link all the controls so only one plug in needs to be open as any changes in the main one change in the others making it effectively multichannel. Do the same for reaxcomp but don't link the muting option. Only mention it again in case you missed that bit ;)
