i'm tired of this, this thread has gone monstrously haywire, and i'm gonna drink one more beer and take a nap.

philadephia freedom was on the jukebox i was the paymaster for the crew, five people, thousands of dollars in my pocket that i was supposed to dole out to crewmembers. i have vague memories of throwing wads of hundred dollar bills across the bar. it was disgusting. when they finally fired me, it turned out that i owed them $1776. that seemed to be an omen.

Hey good on you wadosy. Pity I sold my fender bass or I would have contributed a part. Heck I probably still can on my YAMAHA, it's just not really the sound though. (I have just downloaded the parts and .rpp) I'm really looking forward to what Ted can do with the guitar

one other thing here... i must have tried half a dozen file hosts, and for one reason or another --mostly, they just didnt work-- i finally wound up at sendspace... so the first track i uploaded worked okay, but the second track, the guitar, hung up at 99% and just sat there... would have sat there at 99% forever, so far as i could tell. so i start looking at the reaper file, and the guitar track extends past the end of the master's volume envelope, so i delete the envelope, save the project without the evelope, and the track uploads fine... except, with my wonderful verizon broadband connection, it takes 15 minutes... but at least it uploads. so, if you want to try sendspace, and you have problems --some tracks uploading, some not, maybe you could try deleting the master track volume envelope. i'm really starting to appreciate that fiddler girlfriend i had for a while... you couldnt get her within a hundred miles of a tape recorder. she wasnt much of a fiddler, but at least she had some common sense.

The download did work okay, but the link was hard to find. I hate those sites where they hope to trick you into using some other software. Job done though, Now I'll see what I can add Thanks

This kind of reminds me of The Cowboy Junkies' version of State Trooper: It has that really drunk guy that can't keep his eyes open thing goin on for sure.
