DV Type2 error in VirtualDub

OK. So I figured out how to extract the pvcodec.dll file and with the absence of any guide on how to install it, I copied it to the windows/system directory. result: still not able to open dv type 2 in vdub. P l e a s e A d v i s e. -bluesix.

you need to register the dll file. putting it into a directory won't make vdub recognise it. i remember you can use regsvr32.exe to register under winxp, not sure under other os...you need to specify what type of pc you're running. cheers!

can't register dll 

I tried regsvr32.exe c:\media\panasonic\pdvcodec.dll error: the dll file was loaded but the DllRegistryserver entry point was not found. what am i missing here? bluesix.
