help!!!

I have PT free but I want to upgrade to 001. Can I run 001 on my iMac or do I need a new system. If not is there anything else out that will let me record at least 8tracks simultaniously on an iMac. If not, anyone want to by an iMac!!!

You need an open PCI slot for the Digi001. iMacs don't have PCI slots, so you can't use a Digi001. There are PCMCIA (pc card) adaptors that connect to a PCI chassis, but these are not currently supported with the Digi001. Regards, Kenn LeGault Digidesign

Someone will probably (eventually) make a Firewire-to-PCI expansion chassis, which could possibly give PCI slots to an iMac, but I'm not aware of anything right now. ------------------ LW
