Don't clear loop points on click in ruler.

I could swear I used to be able to link the time selection and loop points, but still be able to move the edit cursor without killing the time selection by clicking up in the ruler. This was because there was a feature called something along the lines of "Clear time selection on click in ruler" and I would always have that turned off. This feature I can't find anymore. I admit that I haven't used v5 very much and I am trying to get reacquainted. If that option is gone, is there a way to be able to move the edit cursor without clearing the time selection without disabling link time selection and loop points? I can see that with these unlinked it's possible, but I like to keep them linked.

Do you mean: Preferences => Editing Behavior => Untick "Clear loop points on click in ruler"? You can also use the search function (bottom left) in the preferences window. HTH, Peter

Doh! I reimported my old setup, but never installed SWS and then wondered why things went missing. Thank you PET you have saved me a lots of confusion, frustration, and curse words.
