Hi, The company Im working for just made a major screwup with the camera, and took the video of a wedding with the "keep time and other details" turned on - it got saved with the video. They are looking at possibilities to clean and recreate the video, since they promised the client that it'll look as good as new. Currently the best solution they have is to export the original video to pictures, and then hire 3 people to clean it up & color it in frame by frame. This will take in the region of 3 months, and cost a minor fortune. Since I've played with video editing a bit, I thought of an idea. Basically, compressed video uses key-frames, and then compressed frames afterwards, until the next keyframe. Isnt it possible to compress the video, export the keyframes, and then clean & color that? It will lead to ghosting in the compressed frames, which is mostly fine since the camera hardly moves, and neither does the content. My aim is to minimise the amount of manual frame-by-frame cleaning that needs to be done. Additionally, does anyone know any video labs which do these kinds of cleanups? It may be cheaper to outsource the problem to them, rather than hire people ourselves... Any help is appreciated...
