Faderport Fader

Hello, My faderport's fader doesn't seem to work. It jumps to the top everything you switch tracks, and the movements are not recognized. Everything else does work play, stop, rewind, etc... The fader does work fine on a mac but not on XP. Any ideas? Thanks! Steve

Did you do the firmware update with the driver I sent you? Also, you might want to try the latest one from Presonus. It's been working fine for me. Those problems from the other thread don't seem to happen anymore. (Unless I'm some weird special case)

Yeah, tried the old and the new firmware. Both have the same problem. Seems like there is something lacking in the OS, but i don't know. Thanks anyway! Steve

Found it! When i created some volume automation with the mouse myself. (eg setting the fader to Write (record fader positions to armed envelopes) and then back to read (play faders with armed envelopes) All of a sudden the faderport came to life! woohoooo! :) Thanks! Steve

I'm having the same problem with the fader ? It worked fine the first day and now it just jumps to the top and thats it ? Everything else works fine ? Mini Sumo was here

Here is what reaper has listed in the control surfaces when I add faderport "Presonus faderport (dev 2.3)" For some reason no matter what I do I can not get it to roll back ? I'm running MS vista. The unit worked great when I first plugged it in. I disconnect everything to move it and now this ? I'm sending it back for another one ! Mini Sumo Was here
