RE: Mbox 1 problems

I have a custom built computer that works perfect with my mbox. Have you checked the system requirements?

Miguel, my system is similar, but I'm running 7.1. get some patches for your 6.7 or upgrade tot 7.1 and you'll be fine. You installes WIN XP SP2, right? That was fixed in the patches.

Degrading is not necessary, but you could try and disable firewall(s) and antivirus programs and reinstall the drivers without those. Also get the latest chipset-drivers at You're not running WIN XP 64 bit ?

Check this too (on the support/compatibility pages) : Windows XP SP2, Microsoft DEP and PACE InterLok Drivers Update * if you encounter unexplained blue screens, freezes or spontaneous reboots when launching Pro Tools with Windows XP Service Pack 2, please update your PACE InterLok drivers: o Download Current InterLok Drivers o More information from the PACE website And remember 7.1 is the latest and is worth the upgrade, IMO anyway.

Ive tried updating my PACE and the problem is still there. Unfortunately i dont even get a chance to see the blue screen of death. It just freezes to a halt. I am at a point willing to gamble $75 USD to a 7.0 upgrade to fix this problem. I hope this works.....:*( If anybody can comment on this before by the end of tonight pls do.

RE: Mbox 1 problems

It's been awhile but I backed out on selling my mbox...i just dont want to give up hope just yet, lol. Being an IT guy this is one of the more easier yet frustrating problems ive ever had to deal with. My current question would be: Does it matter if you have a seperate soundcard installed? I have a Sound blaster live.
