Cant Bounce Assertion in \"FF_AudioProperty\" line33

I'm trying to bounce a few parts of a song I am working on from MIDI. So I solo the appropriate channels and on command it starts to bounce. Then at the end of the playback I get the error message, "Could not complete the "Bounce to Disk..." command because: Assertion in "FF_AudioProperty.cpp", line 33. I'm using Pro Tools LE 6.4 on MacOS 10.3.7. I'm using an iBook and MBox. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

Hi, What do you have your DAE playback buffer set to? In most cases it should be left at the default of 2. If you have it set to higher values like 8 it can cause Pro Tools to throw this error when bouncing to disk. Please let us know if this does not resolve your issue. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support

RE: Cant Bounce Assertion in \"FF_AudioProperty\" line33

I had this prob many times in the past - usually when I have duplicated a set of regions after trimming or adjusting end fades or something similar - before I discovered a simple solution. Select the entire region you are wishing to bounce, then while holding the shift key select just a little bit farther to the right of the highlighted audio... It'll give you silence at the end of the bounce - and maybe a little longer track length (usually nothing more than a few samples or a fraction of a second if sufficient to make the bounce successful), but that should take care of the problem... humpbackmedia
