Will not boot with SoundBlaster Live and Digi001

we just bought a Digi001 and tryed to install it, our system wll not boot with both the Digi001 card and SoundBlaster Live Platinum+ 5.1 installed. I will boot with either card but not both. I have tryed installing them in differant orders. I have tryed different slots. And I have tryed disabeling each of them. The closest I got was when I installed the Digi first then disabled the SB after instalation. but this only worked for three boots. HELP.

I forgot to say that I'm useing a 800 mhz pentium III with 256 of ram and two 40 Gig hard drives.

If you look around (this site) you'll find there are compatability issues with some (all?) Soundblaster cards and Digi001. Do you really need the Soundblaster? For MIDI or Audio? If you don't use both at the same time you can disable the Soundblaster while you're using PT. Numachida.

Make sure you are using the most recent driver available from the Creative Web site. This is a bit strange, but I was using the stock drivers with my PIII 500 and it worked fine. I upgraded to a PIII 650 (nothing changed except the processor) and my machine would no longer boot properly into Windows. I installed the newer driver from thier Web site and all was fine again.
