Is this a latency problem?

I have 12 tracks of audio recorded on my G4 466, w/ 1.2 gig's of ram approx. And I'm not using any plug-in's at this point. I've got my playback buffer set to 1024. My min PT alloaction is 35,293 and my max is set to 70,000. I'm not getting any errors, but it seems that VISUALLY, my fader lights aren't totally accruate with what is playing back. They're just a tad choppy looking and a bit slow on the response. Not too bad, but bad enough to bug me. Is there anything I can do? I did a few searches and couldn't find the answer. Thanks! Jason

no that is not a latency problem. what it is , is you did not trigger your cache at the velocity speed freq. to get things running halfway normal you must do this.

I wish I could tell you what you are doing wrong but, I have no idea. I will say that I have the same rig exaclty and do not see the meters slow until many plugs are applied to a 24 track session try killing some of your unneeded extentions. MC
