Auto DVD Title Registration in Player

I could not find anything on this topic: I have a Sony 400 disc CD/DVD player. I load a "stock" CD/DVD and it automatically registers into the player's menu screen. If I Re-Author with Shrink It, that Auto registration capability is gone. Is there a way to make a custom file to auto register the disc like a factory disc does? Reason, I hit the wrong button and wiped out 400 titles instantly. Ahrrrrra! BillB

Hi! Have you tried burning your re-authored DVDs with IMGBurn - and, from the "Labels" dropdown menu, giving the DVD "Volume Names" and/or "Volume Identifiers"?

No, but I will d/l it and try it. I have Nero in this system, so I wonder if there will be a conflict with IMGBurn? BillB

The Sony jukeboxes read the DVD TEXT to display in the menu. If your discs do not have it, you can add it with PGCEdit.
