If you are having problems installing the necessary programs in their correct folders/locations and getting RipIt4Me preferences setup correctly too, then look no further as the FREE AIO Installers will do all this for you automatically in just a few seconds. You can download them from the links below. The AIO 1000 installer works for those who already have decrypter and shrink installed on their computers. The AIO 2000 is for those who are just starting into backup their dvds. This installer will install all the programs a beginner needs to get started immediately. These installers deal with installing: RipIt4Me FixVTS DVD Decrypter DVD Shrink MenuShrink AIO 1000: Download here or here AIO 2000: Download here or here <EDIT> These installers have been updated to 1.5 and 2.5 I posted newer information about them in my post #13
Not intending to sound rude but, with the very clear installation instructions that accompany the "RipIt4Me" package (regarding RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, and DVD Shrink), why would anyone need /want to use a specially constructed "installer"?
Well shall we say one should listen to what they preach! In all due fairness lets give WARNING to everyone about the official installer at the RipIt4Me.org site also. Yes folks the official installer at the RipIt4Me site is assembled by the same installer as the AIO installers are. So what makes it any safer than the AIO installers might one ask? Maybe this so called gathering of information is being done by the official RipIt4Me installer too. Maybe people should stay clear of the official RipIt4Me installer! Who can people trust these days? It's hard to say anymore with folks making up all the ridiculous scenarios of what the AIO installers are doing when they are not. From what I have found folks and I have looked these installers over good and checked them upside down, right side and backwards and I can not find any malicious anything in them. Every program I have run on them, shows them clean. I must say also I looked up this information about the registration code and Blutach is being a little misleading here in telling the truth. From what I read the only way personal information can be obtained is if you give it to the author and that information was inputted in the code. The code that was used here and from what I seen, looked as if it was a public domain code registration that anyone could use, other words allowing the installer to complete the installation and that's all. Nothing more or nothing less. Now don't go asking why did this person choose to use this code, to activate the installer, cause I do not know. A guess, maybe for looks, because the code the installer was inputting came straight from the registration file on your desktop and the code didn't do anything but allow the installer to complete the installation. I have also seen from a recent download (today) that this step or procedure has been removed and I would imagine do to the fact there has been so much silly speculation that it was doing something it totally could not do unless you input your personal information yourself and I didn't see the installer asking for your personal data input or accessing the Internet during install which could indicate that information being sent to a database, which I have seen nothing of the sort, so tell me how could this program be gathering personal information on you and who could be getting it when it makes no Internet connection? You people have your choice of installers and both are made by the same installer program and one or both could be just as dangerous as the other, but I can tell you from what I have seen and checked on these AIO installers they are as clean as they come. On another note if I may, I think MenuShrink was a rather nice add to the installers. I find myself using it every time right after RipIt4Me has finished. It can really decrease the size of those menus and I am sure the author of MenuShrink (who is also the author of FixVTS) likes to see his other programs associated with RipIt4Me also. Have a nice day!
Both the official and the AIO have been made with Clickteam Pro. The official installer does not ask for a rego code. You click it, you can choose your install directory (which you can't do with the AIO) and you go. If you have an INI file, it doesn't overwrite it (which the AIO did to both my RipIt4Me.ini and MenuShrink.ini files, which is definitely not what I wanted :(). And RipIt4Me has a Softpedia guarantee that it is spyware free. That's good enough for me. Obviously, not good enough for BIACSMF but we are all entitled to our own preferences. Maybe AIO should get that as well. Now folks, we are talking about installers here. This hardly merits further discussion. They are installers of freeware - that's all. Let's move on to decrypting issues please. Regards
WOW........ I see the All-In-One Installer has been updated to version 2.5 and now this new installer works with any drive or folder configuration. Great job! Here is the download link and have a great day. :) Download AIO 2500 .

Transferred to General Discussions - let's keep Decrypting to discussions on decrypting not about installers. We can assume this installer is being updated without the new posts, which do little more than bump this thread. Regards
