Why, oh, why

...does every new effect I open float in it's own window? Drives me nuts that, every time I open an FX chain, I have to close 5+ windows. I just want everything to open, and stay, in the main FX window unless I choose to have it float independently. Seriously, is there a way to get all FX to "un-float" by default?

Perhaps the problem lies at Options -> Preferences -> Plugins -> Auto-float newly created FX windows.
