Effects on master track vs send/receive

I hope I can explain this properly.... I have a simple 2-track project with some basic effects on each track. I was experimenting with some Ozone master effects and added them to the master track. I'm happy with the results but may be adding tracks later that I don't effects on and was wondering if it might be wiser to put the master effects on a receive track instead. This works but everything clips really badly. Is there a formula for determining the effect track level that would result in the same result I get when the effects are on the master track?

Yeah, it's definitely a routing problem but I can't figure out how to get around it. Basically I have two tracks with different effects on each and want to add a master effect to the entire mix. As I said it works fine with the effect on the master output track. Been going through the manual but it's a bit confusing. I'll keep at it. Thanks.

Ahhh... Got it. Stupid mistake. Had to turn off the master/parent send for each track.
