Nobody Knows Everything!!!

I believe people share on this DUC the information that they believe to be true. I don't think people purposely try to be misleading or arbitrary. I can accept when I am just plain wrong. I am also learning and willing to learn. I have to say that compatiblity is constantly changing for the Digi 001. I can't keep up with it. I am still running on some of the initial system requirements that Digidesign proposed early in the inception of Digi 001. By the way, I stay close to those suggestions and have little trouble. I find that posting and sharing on this DUC is sometimes unpleasant. Its ok to disagree, but why be disagreeable? [ July 22, 2001: Message edited by: Michael Cottrell ]

Why can't we all just get along?

Wow, a thread I can appreciate! Here's where I come from. I don't give a sweet damn about Digi, just like they don't give a sweet damn about us lowly LE users. But the fact that we count on each other's marginally astute observations and recomendations is what PT LE is all about. Digi doesn't want us being able to pull off TDM-caliber mixes on LE rigs, and nor do I. I love the ingenuity involved in working with sub-standard gear and attempting lofty goals. Love it! Too bad most of you think LE is a short-cut to stardom. It could be, it you'd pay attention to the DAW scene and learn to use what you've got to acheive what can be done, rather than attempt what you wish could be done. CrookedSound Thanks for the link to Tape Op magazine. I really liked the subscription form. Pity that they have to charge for foreign subscriptions.
